Product Description
StrawMat 2 is a matrix of 100% wheat straw certified to be weed free that is mechanically stitched between two UV stabilized, photo-degradable synthetic nets. StrawMat 1 has one net on the top and the StrawMat 2 has 2 nets on top and bottom. The components are sewn together with polypropylene thread. The StrawMat is designed for erosion protection that will last up to 12 months while providing support for vegetation establishment.
StrawMat 2 is available in one roll size; 7.5 ft x 120 ft = 100 SY/roll (2.29m x 36.6m =83.6 m2/roll)
**Note: StrawMat 2 has two synthetic nets that can pose threats to wildlife. Not recommended for use in wetlands and other environmentally sensitive areas.**
